Fantastic bike stands; simple and elegant engineering. Very sturdy.I bought two of these after looking over all the stands available. I am very happy with this purchase. These stands are unobtrusive, fold away nicely when not being used and connect together nicely. If you cannot use the hanging stands (due to space/wall limitations/etc) this would be the next best thing. The only downside is that they can slide slightly when on lower-friction surfaces (e.g. linoleum, some hardwood floors, etc).The best part is that this device will hold either my road bike or my mountain bike without touching the spokes or the rim. Very well designed.Based upon the success of this stand at home and my recommendation, my office bought 5 of these for those who ride bicycles to work each day. So far it is one of the best purchases we've made to help organize the office (and it keep the bikes indoors and safe).At the office we put down a heavy high-friction mat under the stands to prevent sliding on the linoleum flooring where the bikes are stored during the day.When I buy my next bike, I will be purchasing another one of these stands.I recommend this product to all of my friends who own bikes.
