I have an e-bike that is foldable and hard to find a lock for! This one is perfect with the cord to wrap around and ulock for security! Highly recommend!!The lock is shorter than what's shown in the image, if the bike has thicker bars it's difficult to fit the lock. Cable feels a little light but it’s good.If looks nice and sturdy but can’t attach behind seat or anywhere because there’s no room under the seatSeems like a great lock, tough, heavy and solid. I would have given it 5 stars except a few minor things. 1.) my fault wished it was a little wider and longer. I should’ve looked better at the dimensions. The next two are the reasons I gave 4 star 2.) the bracket is to small and doesn’t fit on the bar from seat to crank (where I usually install them. 3.) the bracket and how it actually holds the lock is off center SO if you install it on the seat post which they recommend in the directions, it will cause your legs/upper thighs to SLIGHTLY hit/rub it as you pedal, ESPECIALLY and More so when you attach the cable to the lock. There’s no sleek way for the lock to also hold the cable. The lock and cable do seem tough, solid and heavy but just a few minor things from giving it 5 stars but still a great product and worth the money. I would still recommend it even though the few things I mentioned.I have a pretty expensive bike that I ride to and from campus and work every day. I usually double lock it using this and one other lock. This lock works great and is easy to use. Not terribly heavy to carry around but definitely durable. It’s nice that there’s not a lot of exposed metal so it doesn’t get super rusty since I live in a coastal area.i dunno how much these locks normally go for. i just needed one and this looked fine. but the attachment for the lock didn’t last which was actually a bit dangerous. it came loose when i was riding and nearly caused an accident. luckily i was able to stop it from swinging around and in the way of the tire. if it continued it could have immediately stopped my tire and flung me off. so yes. the attachment not being sturdy is dangerous and concerning. be wary. because of this though the the lock ended up wearing down pretty quickly. it’s still effective but i definitely wouldn’t purchase it again.The u bolt is fat and made of solid metal, but the receiving lock is light and thin in places, not very solid. The attachment for your bike is also awkward and impractical, because it does not form a straight line and is wider than your bike frame. Also, unless your bike frame is very thin, he only place you can attach this lock when not in use is under your bike seat.I read the reviews that said the lock is smaller than expected. I bought it anyway. By itself, the U-lock seems sturdy, but it’s too small for my bikes. I can’t trust the cable that came with it. Bike thieves are ruthless in my city. Sorry I bought it. Glad I didn’t buy 2.Very strong lock, much thicker than some others available and I daresay impossible to cut through. The lock isn't quite big enough to fit around the front wheel and frame, so I use the included cable for the front wheel which is a bit awkward to carry around and not quite long enough to reach the back wheel too. Minor niggles aside its a good quality lock that does what it says.these locks are smaller than i thought they would be but they seem very heavyweight and the silicone covering is nice. The cable is also shorter than I thought. Fits my small bike well (able to loop both wheels) but I will reiterate my bike is very small and the cable just barely fits around both tires. Seems like it will do the job well though.I bought this for school the bike lock itself is great smaller than anticipated the only problem is the contraption to hold the lock onto the bike it is made cheap I had to remove a small piece to fit it on my bike still would recommend because of its amazing price compared to other products.
