Very sturdy. Kid friendly as in them getting on and off. So the advertisement for 10 to 36 months is not correct.It was a gif to my nephew turned one year old 2 weeks ago. The same day, the bike was delivered. He is so in love with it. Wouldn't let his Dad touch the bike at all! However, he still has to tiptoe when pushing the bike as it is still a little big for her. But I am sure he can totally scooter the bike freely when he grows up a little bit more.It is a cute toy, easy to assemble and light weight. But it is too flexible, baby not easy to control it. She gave it up in quite a short time.Assembly was not easy - hubby had to drill extra holes to get everything to line up.I'm so happy with this purchase. I waffled between this 4 wheel bike and others before and I am so happy that I finally chose this one. My 12month old was a bit timid, but after a few days, she loves it. She is very speedy & comfortable on her current favorite bike, it’s very lightweight & doesn’t have the ability to steer easily. I worried she’d struggle too much with this one & not be interested, but she’s GREAT on it! Most cutest, the kitten bike eyes roll as the handlebar steered. She got on & wobbled a little, fell once, a few times later she can completely control the bike herself, she loves this bike so so much. I would highly recommend it for a child who’s 12months around and gets ready for a challenge, this is a great place to start. The handle bar turns a little, the wheels are smooth and it very simple to assemble within minutes because of its special snap-in design! Love it!Bought this for my grandson’s 1st birthday - ideal!!!
