It uses numbers rather than colors in the guide and is more difficult to follow. I have done many cross-stitch projects but this pattern and guide are the most difficult. Also the pattern is all black and white and it's easier to lose your place. Additionally, the fabric that came with the kit had a orangey-pink stain all down the middle and I had to use my own 14 ct fabric.
