I just got this yesterday and used it to true my Fast Forward F4R wheels that has bladed spokes. None of the local bike shops had a spike holder for sale. I found this holder on Amazon on sale so I ordered it and it came the same day. I put up my bike on the stand , deflated the tire and started truing the rear wheel. I didn’t have a wheel truing stand so I used my bike as the stand. A lot of the YouTubers actually suggested to use bike for this purpose. I put a couple of zip ties just behind the brakes on the seat stays and used them as a guide to make my adjustments. I watched the park tool videos as a refresher on what the process was for truing a wheel. I forgot how easy it was, it just takes a little patience, lighting, and courage to make the first twist. This bladed spoke holder has a slot that holds about 3-4 inches of spoke so it prevents it from twisting like a candy cane. Highly recommend this bladed spoke holder.
